Dr Stephen J. Costello, BA, MA, PhD is the founder-director of the Viktor Frankl Institute of Ireland. He is a philosopher, psychoanalyst, logotherapist, bestselling author, corporate consultant, and accredited Enneagram coach.

He was educated at St. Gerard’s, Castleknock College, and University College Dublin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and Spanish, and a master’s and doctorate in philosophy. Subsequently, he trained as a psychoanalyst (at the Irish Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, now in Trinity College), and in Viktor Frankl’s school of logotherapy and existential analysis (USA and Vienna diplomate).
